Cytopoint, Librela and Solensia are prescription injections that may help pets feel more comfortable when ongoing itch or arthritis pain is affecting their everyday life.
For pets with ongoing allergic itch
Cytopoint may help with allergic itch, including allergic and atopic dermatitis. It can be considered for pets who scratch, lick, chew, rub their skin, or have repeated itchy skin flare-ups.
If your pet’s itching keeps coming back, our vet can examine their skin, discuss possible causes, and let you know whether Cytopoint may be suitable.
For pets struggling with arthritis pain
Librela is used to help control osteoarthritis pain. It may be suitable for pets who are becoming stiff, slowing down, limping, struggling with stairs, or finding walks harder than they used to.
If your pet is showing signs of stiffness or discomfort, our vet can assess their movement and discuss whether Librela could be part of their pain management plan.
For pets showing signs of arthritis pain
Solensia is used to help control osteoarthritis pain. It may be suitable for pets who jump less, hide more, seem stiff, avoid stairs, move less, or become less comfortable being handled.
Because pets often hide pain, small changes in behaviour can be important. If your pet seems less active or less comfortable, a vet check can help you understand what is going on.
Not sure whether your pet needs Cytopoint, Librela or Solensia? Book an appointment with our vet team. We will examine your pet, explain the options clearly, and show you the expected cost before treatment goes ahead.
